5th Grade Math Star

My Name is Armelle.  I am in 5^th grade at Riverton. I was born in Burundi, Africa and I came to Maine when I was 6 years old. I speak 3 languages, Kirundi, English and a little bit of French.  I remember that we had to move to Maine because there was too much fighting in Burundi.  I play basketball with other students on the playground.  I like that Ms. Harris gives me hard math work because I love math and I am very smart.  Recently I got the highest grade on a math test in the whole 5^th grade.  People think that I am weird because I like snails, slugs, bobcats, snakes, lynx, dogs, but I want to be a veterinarian when I grow up.
